Skin tags are small growths that anyone can get just about anywhere on the body, such as the throat, armpits or groin.
While skin tags are harmless, they can still feel unpleasant to have.
But luckily there are ways to remove them – and you don’t even have to go to the clinic. Read the home trick below.
Skin tags are nothing unusual and we all can get them. They may vary slightly in appearance and size, but they are most commonly found around the neck, armpits, eyelids or in the groin area.
If you think that skin tags are uncomfortable or disturbing, you should always visit a doctor to remove them.
But there are actually two simple and smart tricks to remove skin tags at home. Best of all – it costs nothing and is completely painless.
Apple cider vinegar
You may already be carrying apple cider vinegar at home – but you you might not know that the malic acid in it works well to remove skin tags, according to doctors.
You need:
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 cotton ball
Wash your skin with lukewarm water and soap. Wet the cotton pad in apple cider vinegar and apply it to your skin flap.
Repeat once a day until the skin flap begins to change color, and eventually falls off. Simple and painless.
Thread
This is an old trick that actually works – and is surprisingly painless.
You need:
Common sewing thread.
Tie some clean thread around the base of the skin tag, tightly so that it will not come loose. Trim the ends of the thread or floss with scissors wiped with alcohol so the ends do not catch on anything.
Wait several days to one week until the skin tag falls off. Basically the thread serves to inhibit the blood supply to the skin tag, causing it to wither and die.
I was surprised at just how easy, simple, cheap and painless these tricks are! Please share with your family and friends- you might teach them something they don’t know.
