Shelby and his fiance, Marissa Branch both met on Tinder and decided to stay friends before they began their dating journey!
Reba and her new boyfriend Rex were present at the festivities. Branch who is also an influencer filled people in on just how special the wedding venue was for them. She said, “My mom worked there when she was younger, managing the Small World ride. It was my Nana’s favorite. She passed away in 2006 at the age of 57, while I was in middle school. She was my rock, and her passing affected me deeply.”
Branch made sure to pay tribute to her late grandmother throughout the wedding. The flower girls walked out to “It’s a Small World,” which made her mother teary-eyed.
Keeping up with the fairytale theme, the bride walked out on the famous “Beauty and the Beast” song “Tale as Old as Time.”
While they may have had hiccups while planning the entire thing, she never lost respect for her mother-in-law. On Reba’s birthday, she made a post for her mother-in-law, calling her “kind, beautiful, strong, brilliant, supportive, and genuinely fabulous.”
And the feelings clearly go both ways because the country powerhouse performed her hit song “Fancy,” for the couple.
The moment that made fans and everyone at the wedding melt was when McEntire danced with her son to her song “You’re Gonna Be (Always Loved by Me)” from 2005. The song is incredibly special as it talks about a mother’s love for their child and is really sweet!
We wish the couple a lifetime of happiness. What a special and wonderful day.
