Everyone has a tough time on the job from time to time, but it’s not always easy to talk about.
So when a manager at a day care center asked a staff member to have a little chat, she was surprised.
He asked her to go outside, and when she got there, instead of getting a lecture about showing up late for work, she got the shock of her life.
Veronica has had some tough times in the past—like a few years ago, when she fought cancer. But through it all, she never complained—and never missed a single day on the job.
One day, though, Veronica showed up late for work. And her boss noticed and warned her not to be late again.
Veronica told him that she tried her best to show up on time, but it was hard because she didn’t have a car.
Then one day, Veronica’s boss, Alex, asked her to talk in private. He took her out to the street and pointed a short distance away. And when Veronica saw what he was pointing at, she couldn’t hold back her tears.
Alex loved working with Veronica and didn’t want to lose her. So, he decided to buy her a car to make both her commute and her life in general easier. Veronica was overwhelmed, and tears of gratitude streamed down her cheeks.
Veronica seems like a fantastic person who wants the best for those she’s closest to.
What her boss did for her was incredible and it couldn’t have happened to a nicer person.
