‘Jeopardy’ host Alex Trebek has been very open about his battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The survival rate for this type of cancer is about 9%, meaning that the 78-year-old needs to stay positive and fight really hard to beat this.
The host shared good news today: his tumors have shrunk about 50%, meaning that he is partly in remission. With more prayers from his millions of fans, he will surely be able to pull through!

But that doesn’t mean that, amid the battle with cancer, Trebek hasn’t suffered. Chemotherapy is part of his treatment, and an unfortunate side effects of chemo is hair loss. To keep up appearances, he has been seen sporting a wig. But one day, he ventured outside without it, showing the dramatic extent of his hair loss. The photos were published exclusively by the celebrity news destination Radar Online.
Of course, his hair will grow back once he is in full remission and doctors give him the go-ahead to stop treatment. But for now, the frail-looking ‘Jeopardy’ host continues to wear a wig while filming the show.
