If I could magically bring one musician from the past back to life, it would be Elvis. His voice gives me chills every time I hear it. The King left us too soon, but his greatness will live on for many generations to come.
Especially at Christmas, I like to put on some of Elvis’ music, sit back, and enjoy. So I was so overjoyed when I found this clip. Some recording genius has mashed together Elvis and Susan Boyle singing the Christmas classic “O Come All Ye Faithful.”
Susan Boyle’s introduction leaves me absolutely speechless. Her ability to convey emotion so nakedly is peerless. Then, when Elvis’ warm baritone streams from the speakers, every single hair on my body stands on end.
This clip features not only two of history’s best singers, but also a magical video. Its scenes of children playing carefree reflects exactly what Christmas is all about.
