Bullying comes in many forms, but one thing is certain- it is always wrong.
It’s therefore just so wonderful to watch as people set themselves free from harassment they may have suffered and pursue their dreams. Caitlyn Vanbeck is one such person.
18-year-old Caitlyn loved to sing, but she was bullied quite a lot at school because of her voice. Luckily this girl is always a great support at home.
“My mom and dad always told me to keep going, no matter what. So today I want to make them proud,” Caitlyn says as her parents watch her from the next room.
Caitlyn’s version of Kelly Clarkson’s “Piece by Piece” brought the jury to tears- and I had serious goosebumps up and down my arms when I heard her voice.
