One thing I’ve always believed is that music should be for everyone. Women and men, young and old — in my book it doesn’t matter who the person is; as long as you’re passionate, you should always have the chance to reach your dream!
That’s why I was so happy when I discovered The Voice Senior program. Through this program, a jury seeks out those ‘older’ talents that never got the chance. The show targets individuals over 60, who are still dreaming of making it big. They also, naturally, have more wisdom and skill on their hands then their younger counterparts.
One of these hopeful souls is René Bishop. He chooses to participate in the show with his interpretation of beautiful classic. Unchained Melody — and his audition gives me goosebumps from head to toe. If you don’t believe me, just wait until about 1:20 min into the clip… when you’ll also see the whole jury go wild.

It may not be perfect, but this performance absolutely knocked my socks off. Age is just a number, and Rene proves this beyond any doubt!
