In 2014, several celebrities joined comedian and TV personality Howard Stern to celebrate his 60th birthday party with him. But one special performance stood out from the crowd. Adam Levine, lead singer and guitarist of pop band Maroon 5, performed an amazing version of “Purple Rain”, sending the audience in a frenzy of appreciation. Now, following the recent death of Prince, “The Howard Stern Show” decided to rerun the clip in his honor and memory. In just a few days, the clip has had nearly 4 million times on YouTube. I knew that Adam Levine had a fantastic voice, but I had no idea he was such a skilled guitarist. His guitar solo in “Purple Rain” gave me some serious goosebumps.
