Adrienne and Dave wanted to enjoy life after retirement. Their kids had left home and their house was too big.
So they decided to sell it—and build a mini house on wheels.
But just because their new home is small, doesn’t mean they’re making any sacrifices. Scroll down to take a peek inside!
From the outside, the house looks tiny. It’s only 2.5 x 7.2 meters (8 x 24ft) wide.
It’s located in front of a farmhouse that Adrienne and Dave used to own. The couple sold it and half their land, but kept the other half to park their new house-on-wheels.
Inside the house is everything they need: a kitchen, a bed, a sofa, and a bathroom. Large windows let in the light.
Adrienne and Dave decided to put a ladder up to the loft. So far, climbing it is easy, but if they build another house in the future, they’ll probably build stairs instead.
Right inside the door is a sofa where you can sit and eat or just enjoy the view from the large window.
Under the sofa is storage space.
The kitchen is both simple and practical. Cooking is easy here, even though the house is small.
The house has a loft to save space. It comfortably sleeps two, and it looks really cozy.
The bathroom is just big enough—there’s a small sink, a toilet, and a shower.
