I happen to have long hair and one thing that drives me crazy is getting my hair in my face. This is especially true on warm summer days, when I desperately want to feel cooler. Here’s a great hairstyle I discovered that does just that – not to mention looks great. Basically, a braid gets your hair away from your face. The best part? You can easily do this at home – all you need is your hair, and a clip. Read below to see how it works.
The first thing you need to do is split you hair into two sections. Make a deep part through your hair in line with the end of one of your eyebrows. This should create a larger portion of hair on one side of your head and a smaller part on the other side.

Then, take a small section of your hair from the larger section, and make a normal braid. Take a rubber band and tie at the bottom.
Then, go back to the top of the braid and pull loose at the edges to make a small hole. Take hold of the loop from the top of your head and pull hair from the front of your head through the hole. Continue down the braid, repeating this step for every loop in the braid, until you reach about as far down as the parting on the other side of your head.
Then take the rest of the braid, hide it under your hair, and secure with a pin.
Take a comb and tease your hair beneath the braid in the back.
