Every day for a year, she takes a selfie. But there’s more to this video than just that. At first, everything seems fine and the woman is happy, with a glow in her eyes. But as the video progresses, something far more disturbing appears in her face. Please note that the video contains strong images that could be difficult for some viewers.
Today, November 25, is the UN’s International Day For The Elimination Of Violence Against Women. One in three women worldwide have experienced physical or sexual violence — mostly by an intimate partner, according to the UN.
This video was produced as a campaign for raising awareness about domestic violence against women by Serbian non-profit organisation B92.
It’s certainly terrifying to watch and the last line is very painful to read: “Help me, I don’t know if I have until tomorrow”.
