For years, Laura wore her long, beautiful brown curls with pride.
But after a devastating cancer diagnosis, she knew all that would soon be lost due to chemotherapy treatments she was scheduled to have.
So Laura decided to dare go for a shorter and bolder hairstyle, to face her illness with renewed energy.
She got in touch with New York-based hair stylist Jerome Lordet and her extreme transformation, filmed and later uploaded on YouTube, has amazed millions.
Alongside her haircut, Laura got a makeup application – the whole procedure was of course difficult for Laura, but she bravely faced her challenge.

As expected, two weeks after her drastic hair cut, Laura lost all her hair due to cancer treatment.
But it does not really matter. Long or short, one thing is certain… Laura is a gorgeous, strong and brave woman!
