When it comes to barbecues, so often the domain of voracious carnivores who want nothing more than to bask in the glory of sizzling meat, mushrooms can sometimes find themselves left out.
Of course, anyone who’s ever had a properly prepared mushrooms can attest to just how bizarre that really is. Mushrooms done right are sumptuous, enticing and oh, so tasty.
As it happens, we’ve stumbled across a tantalizing recipe when it comes to mushrooms on the BBQ. If buffalo stuffed mushrooms sounds like your thing, then read on!
The recipe itself comes courtesy of Delish, and is not only genius in its simplicity, but also promises to stake a permanent place on your grill in the future.
Ingredients
You’ll need:
1/4 c. balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp. low-sodium soy sauce
2cloves garlic, minced
Freshly ground black pepper
1 lb. cremini mushrooms, sliced 1/2″ thick
Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish
Directions
Armed with that list of ingredients, here’s what you’ll need to do.
1 – Whisk together the balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and pepper in a sizeable mixing bowl.
2 – Heat your grill up to medium-high, before skewering the mushrooms and grilling them for between 2-3 minutes on either side.
3 – Garnish with the parsley and serve.
