Everyone who knows a person who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease know how terrible it is for the families. I myself, have a close relative who’s afflicted with the disease and know how terrifying it is. Kelly Gunderson’s 87-year-old mom has been sick for a while and no longer recognize Kelly. But in this video the mother’s memory suddenly reappears, if only for a short amount time. When she tells her daughter that she loves her, my eyes are filled with tears. Millions of people have seen it on Youtube and I understand why. What a beautiful moment!
