When you bring home a new baby, you never quite know how your other children will react. After all, they’re used to getting all your love and attention to themselves.
So what’s a big sibling to do? Resent their new little brother or sister… or fall in love like the rest of the family?
The mom who took this video found out the answer to that question in the sweetest way possible when she left her six-year old son alone with her newborn baby boy for a second.
What she saw when she came back must have both put a smile on her face and brought her to tears.
And fortunately, she had her cellphone camera with her and caught the lovely moment on film.
In this adorable video, a six-year-old cradles his little brother in his arms and sings him a sweet lullaby — perhaps the same one his parents sang to him when he was little.
The song the boy sings is John Denver’s “No One Like You,” and if you don’t know it, it’s just unabashedly sweet.
“I like your eyes. I like your nose. I like your mouth, your ear, your hand, your toes…” it goes.
And as the boy sings it, you can see how much affection he has for his new little brother.
I have a feeling these two are going to be best friends!
