Childbirth is not an easy thing – those of us who have experienced it can sure testify to that. Some parents claim the best day of their lives was when their child was born, others claim practically the opposite – that it was the most painful and stressful day of their lives. And I’m not just talking about mothers here.
I think it’s safe to say that mothers in labor are the ones usually experiencing most of the pain and agony. Nevertheless, it is important to remember that it’s also a pretty distressing day for the father to be. Not only are they worried that everything will be ok, but it is often expected that they act as the mother’s support system. Someone needs to be the strong and calm one who holds her hand through the whole thing. But that’s not the case for all dads – there’s also the more light-headed and sensitive dads – who just can’t handle it.
This is certainly the case in this video which has gone viral. It was posted on the Facebook page of Spanish site Karma and has gotten four million views and even more chuckles.
In the video, we see a guy – it’s a bit unclear if it’s the baby’s dad or not, but we can assume it is – witnessing his child being born. The poor guy is trying to be calm and supportive but we soon realize he’s just not cut out for it. He clearly looks a little terrified and traumatized – with some pretty interesting facial expressions.
