Wedding dresses come in all shapes and sizes. But I’m pretty sure this is the most impressive one I’ve ever seen.
At first glance, it looks like an ordinary, yet very beautiful dress. But when you see the story behind it, you’ll realize it’s anything but ordinary.
This one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen!
Amber Mills has had to face her share of difficulties in life. The mother of three was diagnosed with MS and fell into a depression.
Soon after, she decided she needed a hobby to take her mind off of her illness – and she found the perfect thing.
Amber’s creativity was sparked, and she decided to attend a dressmaking contest where the winner would get a big prize.
Inspired by her children, Amber got to work on her dress. But she didn’t use cloth to make it – she used something very different indeed.
Amber grabbed a needle, thread, tape, glue, and some… toilet paper. Yes, toilet paper is a big part of her creation. She boiled the paper without the roll and used glue to give it the right consistency.
Then with the help of a stencils, Amber pressed the toilet paper into stencils and built up her dress piece by piece. The mother of three worked both day and night to get it done. And when the dress was ready, people couldn’t believe their eyes.
Amber ended up placing third in the competition and bought home $5,000. But in my book, she’ll always be number one.
Watch this video to hear Amber talk about the dress and explain how she made it. Impressive!
