Through sickness and in health, for better or for worse, until death do us part. When we stand opposite our loved ones in church, on the one of the most emotional days of our lives, we deliver a promise that is supposed to apply as long as we breath. We commit to being with our partners forever – through the good and the bad, in all situations and circumstances. No matter what.
It’s this very connection that makes weddings one of life’s most beautiful occasions. Of course, the words mean different things to different people.
The man who is the subject of this article certainly has his views on the matter. His recent actions towards his wife in a salon didn’t only move the hairdresser herself to tears, but they’ve proven to be a huge hit online as well.
When one man’s wife began to deteriorate health-wise, she was no longer able to perform the same everyday chores as she once had.
For example, she lacked the strength or dexterity to fix her own hair. It should go without saying that the feeling of helplessness that comes with no longer being able to carry out basic tasks is a heavy weight upon the shoulders. For the woman in question, the situation was tough. But that’s not to say she was alone.
Enter her loving husband, who has quickly become a firm favourite on the internet.
Once upon a time – when this adorable couple tied the knot – the husband had committed himself to standing by his wife’s side through thick and thin. He wasn’t about to break that promise.
He wanted to learn how he could fix her hair for her, since she was unable to do it herself.
So, he booked in a slot at the local salon and explained his mission to them.
The hairdresser appointed to the task showed him, step by step, how he could do his wife’s hair just how she liked it.
He then took the brush, practising over and over again until he had the necessary knowledge.
The hairdresser’s Facebook post has since been shared on Love What Matters. It reads: “Proof that true love really exists… she can no longer style her hair herself and her husband insisted on learning how to do it for her step by step. From products, to the way you hold the brush and dryer…truly one of the best things I have been able to witness in my life. Brought tears to my eyes..what an amazing man and what a lucky woman. 
❤Bless them.”
The husband spent several hours rehearsing the routine so that he knew it well.
It’s a commitment you won’t see often in today’s society, but it was just business as usual for one special man.
