Ben Sunderman is 19 years old and lives in Texas, and just like any other 19-year-old he dreams about getting his first job. But Ben got Downs syndrome and have to face society’s prejudices on a daily basis. So, he wouldn’t dare of hoping too much when he applied for a job at the Embassy Suits Hotel in Frisco. Ben’s parents always have encouraged him to do whatever he wants to. When they received the letter from the hotel, his mom grabbed the camera and filmed her son’s reaction. After reading it, Ben understands. He got the job. And his reaction is wonderful to watch! – We are so happy that Ben can get a job and be a part of the society. That’s what every parent wishes for their kids, the mom told ABC.
