Most people, at one time or another, have pushed their foot a little too hard on the gas and ended up going over the speed limit of the road.
Of course, there are others who break it more frequently; those who challenge the rules of the road on a regular basis.
Fortunately, for all those need for speeders amongst you, we’ve stumbled across an online hack that should ensure you’re never caught by police and can avoid fines …
There are plenty of so-called ‘tricks’ to help people keep speeding fines away, but this particular method is the only one that is 100% water tight when it comes to avoiding police penalties. The best part of it? It’s completely legal. And yes, you read that correctly.
Keeping the fines at bay
Facebook page Gendarmerie de l’Oise published a three-step method earlier this year to ensure you don’t fall foul of the speed cameras. The hack has been spreading like wildfire online ever since; all you need to do is follow the points below.
1 – Look carefully at the signs you pass that indicate the road’s speed limit. The specified number is actually the maximum speed you can go, whether you’re on foot, bike, horse, car or any other sort of vehicle.
2 – Take a second to check the speedometer on your car. This can usually be found on the dashboard somewhere, in plain view of the driver. The arrow indicates the speed at which you’re currently travelling. On newer cars, the speed is sometimes even more apparent, appearing in digits on a small screen behind the wheel so that there can be no confusion.
3 – The last point is admittedly the most difficult. Adjust your speed to the number indicated on the sign. Incredibly, you’ll find that police/speed cameras can’t make you pay a penny if you’re not driving over the number on the sign.
