Acts of discrimination are just beyond me. Nobody deserves to be attacked, harassed, or insulted for leading their private lives the way they wish. Unfortunately, bigots exist everywhere and one gay couple from the UK had the bad luck of encountering one. Someone cruelly scrawled the word “faggots” onto their front door, around Christmas time, just below the nice wreath they hung to their door. The couple could have been infuriated and had any variety of reactions to this unacceptable act – but how they chose to respond couldn’t be more perfect. The note reads:
“To the individual who scrawled the word ’faggots’’ into our door:
We regret to inform you that you completely failed to use glitter paint and/or sequins, your work looked rushed, and your handwriting was positively atrocious.
It is for these reasons that we had to remove your work from our door with sandpaper.
