Sadly, infidelity is something that can be all too common in the world we live in. To betray someone’s trust and engage in romantic relations with someone else – sexual or not – is a despicable act, but sadly one that many people are OK with committing.
For the victim of such a betrayal, great pain and loss of confidence are usually commonplace. Yet few can possibly relate to the feelings one father must have after finding out that the boy he thought was his son is actually his uncle.
Yes, your read that right. Yes, it will require a moment’s reflection to properly digest what this means.
The man in question took to TikTok to explain his extremely unfortunate turns of events. In the video, Stacks1400 (his TikTok name) can seen crying as he relays that before his ‘son’ was born, he and his girlfriend took a trip to stay with his grandfather.
Whilst there – and completely unbeknownst to him – the man’s girlfriend engaged in an affair with his grandfather, resulting in her falling pregnant.
Fast forward some nine months, and a baby boy was born, which the man rightfully believed was his own.
He eventually found out about the deception, but not before forming a bond with the boy. As per his video, he found texts from his grandfather on his girlfriend’s phone, including “years” worth of messages and “pictures and explicit stuff.”
He captioned his TikTok video: “Can’t believe I expected more from a man that had a whole other family around the corner from my granny house.”
In a follow up post on the matter, the man said he still wants to be a part of his son/uncle’s life, but is in an understandably difficult position.
