For 15 years, Rob has Scandia cooked to all firefighters in the state of Floria, USA. But it wasn’t just a job for Rob.
His career was strongly affected by the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the US – when Rob lost a close friend. He then decided to dedicate his life to thank all the firefighters who risked their lives to help the victims on that day.
After 15 years of giving to those firefighters, firemen felt in turn that they wanted to give something back to show their appreciation. The moment when they give Rob surprise of her life is difficult not to be touched by.
The talented chef had over the years written down all his recipes in a book. His dream was to one day publish his own cookbook – and then donate all the money to organizations that help firefighters. But as is the case for many things in life, his dream never materialized.
But thanks to the colleagues he dedicated his life to, in this case, Rob’s dream came true. Have a look at their wonderful surprise in the video below.
