When Ardi Rizal was two years old, he became infamous across the world for smoking two packs of cigarettes a day. The media attention had a positive effect on the Ardi’s life though, and the little boy from Indonesia got help and managed to quit smoking.
But giving up his 40-cigarette-a-day habit wasn’t easy, and Ardi soon traded smoking for eating large quantities of junk food.
The whole world was shocked back in 2010 when videos emerged of a 2-year-old Ardi smoking cigarette after cigarette.
This prompted the authorities to intervene, and Ardi received professional help him quit smoking.
But unfortunately, the little boy ended up with another addiction, this time to junk food, writes the Independent.
By the time Ardi turned six, he was significantly overweight, and once again, his health in danger.
You might ask about the responsibility of Ardi’s parents. And they say that they’ve tried, but Adri was extremely stubborn.
So once again, the boy’s parents decided to seek out help, and got Ardi a nutritionist.
And what a change!
After only two years, Ardi looks completely different. Now he’s a healthy, 8-year-old boy.
And thankfully, he’s kicked both his smoking and junk food habits
