On January 18th, 2016 Aimee was celebrating her own 33rd birthday, as well as her mother’s 56th birthday. Then, within hours, she was incredibly celebrating the birthday of her daughter, Miracle Joy, too.
Three birthdays, three generations = one big party.
Indeed, the odds of what happened to Aimee Hernando actually occurring? 1 in 133,225. Now I definitely think that’s cause to celebrate!
If sharing is caring, than three generations of Hernando girls certainly know how to care. The eldest Hernando and her daughter Aimee already shared the exact same birthday, January 18th. Then on that precise date once again, daughter Aimee delivered her own baby girl, Miracle Joy.
And with the likelihood of that kind of coincidence occurring so small, one could say Miracle’s name was fully suited to the occasion.
Miracle Joy was in fact due at the end of January and according to ABC News Aimee thought it would be great if her baby was also born on the 18th.
The odds of this are very slim. According to Keith Devlin, a mathematician at Stanford University and NPR’s “The Math Guy”, they are 1 in 133,225.
“Then when I went into labor I just kept thinking ‘Oh my goodness!” Hernando told ABC News. “Is this really happening?”
Not only do all three share the same birthday, they were struck with second strange coincidence: grandma was born weighing 6 pounds 10 ounces, Aimee was 6 pounds 9 ounces, and now Miracle – 6 pounds 8 ounces.
“We just thought that was so cool!” Hernando said.
I can only agree! Share the Hernando’s triple celebration with all your family and friends.
