A self-described family man is in desperate need of a job. Like so many, he sends out resume after resume after resume and never receives a response.
Finally it got to the point where he felt like he had to take a different approach to job hunting.
So he took to the street corner and began telling anyone who would listen what made him a good job candidate.
“I’m pretty desperate,” Justin Chester of Texarkana, Texas said.
He was specific and said he doesn’t want any sort of handout, but he does want $15 an hour, an amount many are fighting to make the minimum wage.
He has over a decade of experience in information technology as well as over a decade of office experience.
According to the sign he holds while standing on Richmond Road in Texarkana, he “will do anything.”
“I need a job. I shoot out resumes during the night. During the early morning hours and I’m not getting any responses.”
While Chester hasn’t landed a job after a week of his unusual way of job hunting, he has lined up several interviews.
Good luck Justin! It’s extremely difficult out there. I hope you are able to find a job very soon.
