Nicollette Sheridan rose to fame as Paige Matheson on the iconic soap opera Knots Landing.
Later on, she became a fan-favorite villain in Desperate Housewives as the show’s Eddie Britt.
But few viewers are aware, however, of her years of tumultuous relationships.
Also of “Dynasty” fame, actress Nicollette Sheridan is one of the many stars in Hollywood who has not had an easy go at marriage.
Sheridan, now 57, was first married to actor Harry Hamlin, now 69, in 1991. They divorced only 11 months later, the reason being a point of contention in the public eye.
Hamlin’s second wife, Lisa Ramlin (57), claimed that Sheridan had cheated on Hamlin with singer Michael Bolton. Ramlin revealed the reported affair on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and Sheridan has vehemently denied that this ever happened.
Sheridan claims that she and her first husband divorced for entirely different reasons, but this led to a public feud on Twitter, where Hamlin defended his second wife while accusing Sheridan of lying.
Either way, it is also public knowledge that Sheridan and singer Michael Bolton did date on and off as of 1992, after the actress’s divorce. The two dated for 5 years, broke up, then reunited in 2005. They became engaged in 2006 but officially broke it off just 2 years later.
After breaking things off with Bolton, Sheridan dated and married Aaron Phypers. The two were married for only 6 month before divorcing.
Much like her previous husband, Phypers also next married a “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star. He and Denise Richards were married in 2018.
Sheridan was experiencing conflict in her professional life at this time as well. Her character on “Desperate Housewives” was killed off unexpectedly, and she claimed her firing was a result of her accusations against creator Marc Cherry.
Sheridan alleged that Cherry physically assaulted her, and proceeded to sue him for the charges after being pushed out of the show. Her lawsuit was thrown out in 2017.
Understandably, Sheridan took a step back from the spotlight at this point in her career, instead focusing on smaller passion projects. She starred in several Hallmark Channel movies and a “Dynasty” reboot in 2017.
Her “Dynasty” character was killed off in 2019 after Sheridan chose to spend more time with her sick mother.
