The late actor was beloved by many throughout his career. Before his death in 2003, Ritter was best known for his roles on Three’s Company, Problem Child, and 8 Simple Rules. He passed away very suddenly of aortic dissection (a tear in the aorta that grows) that was initially mistaken for a heart attack just a few days before his 55th birthday.
Ritter left behind a wife and two sons, Jason and Tyler Ritter. It’s been about 16 years since his passing, and Jason and Tyler are now all grown up. They have families of their own—and they happen to look just like their dad.
Jason Ritter, now 39 years old, is married and has one daughter with his wife. He became an actor and has many credits in both film and television.
Tyler is 34 years old and also has one child. Just like his dad and brother, he became an actor and is the star of The McCarthys.
These two brothers are still young and have a whole career ahead of them. Right now, they’re forging their way in the entertainment world. Who knows? Maybe they’ll one day be as famous as their Emmy-winning dad!
Tyler and Jason grew up to be the spitting image of John Ritter. We miss the late actor very much, and we’re sure that, had he survived, he would have continued to entertain us for many years.
