Growing up surrounded by nature in Montana, Casey Anderson has loved and appreciated wild animals his entire life. In fact, he has such a reputation for taking in injured animals and caring for them, his friends call him the “Animal Magnet.” So when Casey found a tiny bear cub lying next to his dead mother in the mountains of Alaska, of course, Casey rescued it and raised it as his own. Little did he know what this bear and his friendship with it would become.
After rescuing and adopting Brutus, the name Casey gave the grizzly, he made sure to care for him in the best way possible. When Brutus outgrew Casey’s house, Casey established the Montana Grizzly Encounter Rescue and Educational Sanctuary. Here, the two work to educate the public about grizzly bears and raise awareness to get the bears off the endangered list.
The amazing bond between this man and this giant bear is simply incredible. Only someone with complete love and trust for a true friend would fearlessly play and wrestle with a giant creature like Brutus. Absolutely amazing!
