A veterinary clinic in Dublin, Ireland, is looking to hire a person to do just that.
And you only need to have a few qualifications.
Every morning, when I go to work and leave my cat behind, it’s always difficult. And the only thing that makes it bearable is being able to come home after work and cuddle him again.
But now, one lucky person won’t have to sacrifice their love of cuddling cats for having to make a living. A cat clinic called Just Cats in Ireland has posted an advertisement online where you can take your love of cats to work and become a professional cat cuddler, writes Metro UK.
“Are you a crazy cat person and loves cats?
Does cattitude come naturally to you?
Have you counted kittens before you go asleep?
Do you feed the stray cats in your locality?
Does petting cats make you feel warm and fuzzy?
If you answer yes to some or all of these questions, how about working with cats as a full time job at Just Cats Veterinary Clinic?” the clinic wrote in its ad.
More than 8,000 people have looked at the ad, which was posted on Tuesday, but it’s unclear how many people have applied so far.
The clinic writes that the ideal candidate should have “gentle hands capable of petting and stroking cats for long periods of time” and be “softly spoken and capable of cat whispering to calm the nerves of some of our in-patients.” In addition, the person should have a qualification approved by the Veterinary Council of Ireland.
