This short film has touched hundreds of thousands of dog owners‑and it’s easy to see why.
Director Shawn Welling shot the 7-minute film, called “If I Could Talk,” from a dog’s perspective. The filmmaker gives voice to the thoughts and feelings that we dog lovers know our dogs have but are unable to put to words. So it’s quite moving to see what this dog is going through as he goes from being rescued to being his owners’ best friend.
