But when dad suffers a stroke everything changes. His dog runs towards the ambulance, but the medics shut the doors, right at his nose.
His dog then waits for days outside the hospital – but in vain. The owner will never come out.
Instead, the door opens and another person, a woman, rolls out in a wheelchair. That’s when the unexpected occurs …
This story from from Argentina clearly reveals the importance of organ donations. Across the world, the number of organ donations are insufficient to fill all needs.
Many people on waiting lists die each year due to this shortage.
It is of course up to each individual to decide on such questions, but I think the film’s message is worth spreading further.
