Christian Guardino is only 16-years-old but has probably been through more than many of his peers.
He was born blind, but at the age of 12 was given his vision back through a miraculous and revolutionary eye treatment.
I don’t even have to explain what a difference this made in the young boy’s life. It truly was a blessing.
With his vision back in place, he was finally allowed to enjoy doing what loves the most:
Singing.
Christian was diagnosed at a young age with a retinal disease called Leber congenital amaurosis which left him blind.
That all changed however when he was given a chance to take part in an experimental gene therapy treatment. The treatment fortunately worked and Christian was given his eyesight back.
It also gave him the confidence and strength to devote everyhting he had to singing.
When push came to shove however, the nerves almost took over him. I am talking about the moment he took the stage of America’s Got Talent.
You can clearly see that Christian is extremely nervous when he first goes on stage and talks to the judges. That all goes out the window when this boy starts to sing the Jackson 5 classic hit ‘Who’s Loving You.’

Not even tough guy Simon Cowell could hold back in praising the boy’s incredible singing.
“You were like a little mouse that turned into a lion, you are one of my favorite contestants I’ve seen this year,” he said. “Not only in terms of your voice. I just like you. There’s something about you, and it’s just the best possible feeling when we meet someone like you.”
