Most parents would agree that childbirth is an unforgettable experience. But when a 3-year old gets involved in the process — and says something this funny once it’s over — it becomes even more memorable! I have no idea if this actually happened in real life or not, but still love the story. For anyone with small kids, you’ll certainly relate. It’s impossible to know what will next be coming out of their mouths! This innocent little story gave me quite the laugh – pass it along if you want to make others smile today. Due to an extensive power outage in the area, only a single parademic could manage to make it to the home of a mother who called for help after realizing that she would have to deliver her baby from home.
The home was very dark and the medic asked Kathleen, the mom’s little three-year-old daughter, if she could help hold up a flashlight so that the medic could properly see and deliver the child.
Kathleen, who took the task very seriously, behaved flawlessly.
The mother pushed and pushed, and finally, little Connor entered the world. The medic grabbed his little legs, lifted him up and gave him a proper little spank on the bum.
The paramedic then thanked Kathleen for her help and asked the little girl what she thought about what she had just witnessed.
Kathleen quickly responded: “He should not have crawled in there in the first place… you should continue spanking him on the bum!”
