Mother of four Sharon Carter runs a small bakery in Penrith, Australia. To run your own business can be tough, but Sharon has arguably had it even tougher than others. In 2012, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and a few years ago, she lost her younger brother. To make things worse, one of her sons suffers from several diseases, including an eye disorder, tremors in his hands, and problems with balance. Life in recent years has thus been no easy ride for Sharon, and she has been forced to work extra hard and long in order to afford the costs of her son’s treatments.
