Dogs are amazing in so many different ways. Our four-legged friends not only stand by us in the good times and the bad, but also look out for each other, too.
When my dog Jackie has nightmares, I usually calm her down by gently petting her.
But what if I wasn’t home when she was having a bad dream? Well, then I hope that my other dog does what the puppy in this video does. It’s heart-meltingly sweet!
The fact that we humans dream while we’re sleeping is nothing new. But what not everyone might know is that our four-legged friends also dream.
Some of those dreams must be wonderful, and judging by how dogs sometimes move in their sleep, some of them must be nightmares.
In this video, a dog owner managed to catch one of her dogs crying in his sleep. It’s clear that the older dog is worried about whatever is happening in the dream.
Fortunately, the dog has a cute little friend who wants to make sure everything is okay.
“One night I caught my new puppy comforting my older dog during a bad dream. They are quickly becoming new friends,” the dogs’ owner wrote about this amazing clip.
And they truly are best friends. It’s amazing to see how this puppy cares for her older friend.
