True friendship knows no boundaries, as they say. But this unexpected friendship is in a league of its own. Many are familiar with Disney’s The Fox and the Hound, where the two different but similar animals are best friends. But that story is not just fictional anymore: Apparently, the dynamic pair exists in the real world, proving that love and friendship have no boundaries. Here they are.
Tinni and wild fox Snusen have become best friends.
The dog lives in Norway with his owner, photographer Torgeir Berge, who enjoys immortalizing their friendship with plenty of pictures.
The pair barely seem aware that they are after all ‘different’. They play together as if they’ve been friends their whole lives.
Seeing Tinni and Snusen’s friendship with his own eyes has made Torgeir particularly sensitive and critical of the fur industry, where foxes confined in small cages are killed strictly for their fur.
“Foxes are just like dogs in their behavior and personality. I get tears in my eyes when I think of the millions of versions of Snusen that are confined in cages their whole lives,” Torgeir writes on his Facebook page.
“I am pretty sure that neither Snusen nor Tinni would feel so good in a small cage at a fur farm. I shudder at the thought,” he adds.
Thankfully, Snusen is both wild — and free. And luckily for them both, they have plenty of room to run around and explore the Norwegian woods together.
The dynamic duo are so busy playing and enjoying each other’s company that they barely notice Torgeir’s presence.
This is indeed true friendship. Like if you agree!
