They’re the most unlikely of friends… but that is exactly what these two are. Finnish photographer Lassi Rautiainen captured the incredible friendship between this bear and wolf. The pictures have fascinated millions around the world. The photographer was stunned when he first encountered the unlikely pair hanging out together. “It’s impossible to really explain why and how they became friends. Perhaps they met when they were young and alone and depended on each other for survival. It’s definitely amazing to be able to share such an amazing, unexpected occurrence,” he told the UK’s Daily Mail. Lassi followed the wolf and the bear for ten days straight. They were together every single night – even sitting through meals together. The images below are the ultimate proof that love has no boundaries.
