Small acts of kindness can brighten up our day – whether it’s simply someone holding a door open for us, being given a seat on a train, or someone buying us a coffee.
But some kind acts can be completely life-changing, and when one man saw a 60-year-old mother sleeping rough on the ground near his home, he decided he had to do something.
The man in the video had seen the woman around his neighbourhood, sleeping in the dirt. He couldn’t just let that happen, so he started using his talents to build her a home.
It quickly started to take shape, with an impressive use of wood creating a cool panelled effect on the outside.
He even added a window to let light into the home.
And he put insulation in, in case it got cold.
And by putting a wood effect all around the outside, he started to make it look like a place she could be proud to call home.
And his painting skills added the finishing touch.
When the lady saw what he had done for her, she couldn’t thank him enough.
She finally had keys to her very own home.
And when she opened the door, she was so happy – he had changed her life forever.
