Nancy Hauck from Utah has a beautiful family that she is incredibly proud of. The 56-year-old is a loving mother, wife, and grandmother to a bunch of adorable kids.
When her son Jeff and wife Cambria decided they wanted to have a fifth child, they had no idea how they would accomplish it because of Cambria’s life-saving hysterectomy.
However, the answer was in front of them all along; Jeff’s mother. The couple already had four children, two sets of twins but wanted another child to complete their beautiful family.
This is when Jeff’s mother stepped in and offered to carry the child for them. At first she was hesitant to do so because of her age but when doctors gave her the go-ahead, she acted fast before menopause set in and dampened her chances.
The last time Nancy was pregnant was over 26 years ago, but that did not stop the grandma.

The family was beyond grateful that Nancy offered to do such a huge favor to them and help them grow their family when they did not know how they would accomplish that.
Jeff said in an interview, “I felt grateful to have such a selfless and loving mom that was willing to make that kind of sacrifice for my family … having experienced over four years of infertility treatments, I knew how complicated the process can be and doubted that it was possible for her to carry a baby for us, but I was very moved that she would even offer.”
Her daughter-in-law Cambria was equally if not more grateful for her mother-in-law’s selfless sacrifice for the couple. She took to Facebook to write a post dedicated to her. In it, she wrote, “As I thought deeper about Nancy as our carrier, I truly could not have chosen a more perfect gestational carrier (really in this case she is a surrogate of sorts since she is Jeff’s mom and her DNA is part of our baby girl) Nancy is strong, so intelligent, faith filled, spiritual, gracious, loving, and she strives to live each day following Christ’s example. She gave me Jeff who has been my greatest blessing and support through the 13 years I’ve know him.”
The entire family partook in a beautiful pregnancy photoshoot together at the beach. The pictures turned out wonderfully and helped immortalize the beautiful moments of Nancy’s pregnancy with her own grandchild.
