Katy Perry witnessed another proposal, this time while on the job as a judge for the popular singing show.
Contestant Johanna Jones took the stage and sang a beautiful rendition of “Wicked Game” by Chris Isaak. But she sang only in the presence of the audience and her parents—her boyfriend apparently couldn’t make it because of his school exams.
But little did she know that he was hiding backstage, ring in hand.
In an interview, she said that he was the love of her life, and that he was the “one.” If only she knew then that he felt the same way!
As soon as she finished the song, her boyfriend appeared on stage, got down on one knee, and proposed. The singer was so emotional and happily said yes!
